The best laptop for music production 2020 is definitely the M1 MacBook Pro, hands down! It’s lightweight, portable and has tremendous power in such a small package. The only downside is actually the connectivity, only 2 Thunderbolt 3 (and USB 4.0) ports, but that’s easily solved with a TB hub, like the Belking Thunderbolt Dock Core.
